After Effects of El Diario

A family of 5 came in tonight with a copy of Wednesday's El Diario/La Prensa for dinner. One by one they looked for everyone who was in the photograph featured with the article and. "Hey! You're the guy in the newspaper!"

"Look! Look! There's another one. She was in it too!"


They were a family of Colombians who had come to Bogota from Queens because of the article. The young boy among them was so excited to see and meet everyone who was in the photograph. We shook their hands and gave them a dessert sampler on the house.
