Sara Odam

Bogota Artist: Sara Odam

"Farid, you sent out that email saying that we were looking for artists to paint our walls?"
"Yeah. How come?"
"Some girl called up today and said she was right outside the space. I told her, 'Great!' and that she was the first one to respond."
"Really? That's cool. Did she show a portfolio?"
"No, but she said she was interested and would send me a link to her site."
"Cool."

Yes, cool. Because she had the cojones to just show up:

Welcome to Bogota, Sara.

Murals, Art, Bogota, Brooklyn, New York, Miguel Perez and Ben Rojas

"Ben Rojas and Miguel Perez: the Artists/Muralists"

Yesterday, Sunday, another amazing and fun day at Bogota. No, we're not open yet-we're still under construction. So, you might ask, what makes a restaurant under construction "fun"? The fact that all day long friends, friends and more friends just kept popping by unexpectedly to visit. It made it difficult to get any work done, mind you, but the validation, the support, the ideas, the excitement and love we received from them all was what made the day so exciting.

Have I mentioned that I need to get more sleep? Let me say it here: I Need More Sleep!
