Family In Colombia
Cousins Luz Elena Tabares and a very pregnant Martha Cardenas: Bogota 2006.Coming from a large family in Colombia makes for a very interesting life. I am part of a very large family that descends from my grandmother and her brothers and sisters and all their offpsring.
Every time I go to Colombia, it becomes a mission to see family while I'm there. It's nearly impossible to see them all because there are so many. There are many that I've yet to meet because of their distance in the interior of the country but most of my cousins do know each other or at least know of each other.
It's like having hundreds of instance friends who will feed you, house you and embrace you because you're family.
