New Year's Eve 2009 at Bogota Latin Bistro

Happy Birthday to Farid who shares his birthday with Christmas on December 25th.  Bogota Latin Bistro will be closed this year on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will be open for business through December 31st.  On New Year's Eve, we will be offering a limited menu (not to worry, you'll still be able to find many of our most popular items) with no cover charge, no price fix menu either.  If you're planning on staying local, stop by, stay safe and make the last meal of the year your best one yet.  Incidentally, if you're looking for New Year's Eve Glasses, you can find them here.

Ready for 2007(?)

Ready or not, here it comes. 2007. I was thinking earlier, "hmm...I can't believe New Year's Eve, December 31st, is here already. I'm not ready for it yet."

It's going to be a very long day and representative of what has become my life and world to this point: owning a restaurant means you basically, eat/breathe/sleep/live the restaurant. It'll be how I'm greeting in the new year. It will be exciting, however, in spite of how long it is going to be. Bogota is open for brunch tomorrow. This means I have to be there early and that I'll be there until at least 2:00 a.m. At least. Yikes. It'll be exciting, nerve-racking, exhauting, blah blah blah.

I'm just glad, so glad, that we are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Bogota is open for New Year's Eve from 12 noon for brunch through 2 a.m. for revelry.
